PROUDLY BORN IN EL RAVAL

Tucked between the old city and the waterfront, El Raval is Barcelona at its most honest, chaotic, creative, unapologetically itself. Markets, murals, late nights, and people who don't follow trends, they set them.
That's the DNA behind every frame we make. Each model named after something you'd only know if you've walked these streets.
If you've been to El Raval, you get it. If you haven’t, now you have a reason to come.

WHY RAVAL?

The Material

Mazzucchelli has been crafting acetate in Italy since 1849. It’s the same material used by the brands we won’t name, the ones charging twice as much. The difference from injected plastic is something you feel before you even put them on. More weight, better texture, longer lifespan.
Our frames aren’t mass-produced. They’re cut, polished, and assembled by hand.

The Lenses

We don’t sell mineral glass because it’s heavy. We don’t sell cheap polycarbonate because it scratches. CR39 is the optical resin that has spent decades being the sweet spot between clarity, lightness, and durability.
And if you ever want prescription lenses fitted into the optical frames, any optician can do it. The material holds up.

The Design

We don’t look at what’s selling elsewhere just to copy it slightly differently. Every model starts here, from the neighborhood, from the people who actually live it. That’s why every frame has its own name: Moritz, Lobo, Gats, Dos Pebrots, Bucanero.
If someone asks where your frames are from, you’ll already have a story to tell.
